MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Former Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly was arrested in Colorado.

Kelly, now quarterback for the Denver Broncos, is charged with first-degree criminal trespassing, according to a press release obtained by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Officers were called by a homeowner who said a man later identified as Kelly was inside his home.

Kelly was later found inside an SUV and taken into custody.

Broncos President and General Manager John Elway issued a statement on Kelly’s arrest, saying:

“We’re obviously very, very disappointed in Chad and the situation that he put himself into. We are in the process of getting all the facts and talking to Chad, and then we’ll figure out exactly which direction we’re going to go. But obviously very disappointed in Chad.”
