MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The Memphis Grizzlies were flying high to begin the long Thanksgiving weekend atop the NBA's Western Conference.
Now they find themselves in fourth place, searching for some late game help.
The Grizzlies dropped two games in a row over the weekend, blowing late leads in both games, at the LA Clippers Friday, and at home against the Knicks Sunday night.
Mike Conley fouled out of the Clippers game and could not respond against the Knicks.
Grizzlies head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said he's got to find help for his veteran point guard.
“… Third quarter kind of set the tone for us, put us on hold, but I thought we needed to press that group to give us an opportunity to win,” Bickerstaff said. “So, you dig yourself a hole, you make those decisions, and I probably ran them too long, to be honest with you, in that fourth quarter.”
The Grizzlies have a tough game coming on Tuesday, when they host NBA best Toronto Raptors at FedExForum.
Toronto has the top record in the association at 17-4.
Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
