MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a deadly attempted carjacking this month.

Jason Poole Jr., 18, is charged with especially aggravated robbery, first-degree murder and attempted robbery.

On Nov. 19, police say two men carjacked another man at gunpoint on Isabelle Street. Within an hour, officers responded to a shooting near Truman and Ozan where two suspects tried to steal a truck and opened fire on the people inside. Belinda Humphreys was shot and killed.

Police arrested 18-year-old Djuantay Jacocks and three others Tuesday after spotting him behind the wheel of the truck stolen during the Nov. 19 carjacking.

Police say their interviews with Jacocks and the other three led them to Poole who officers picked up Wednesday. According to a police affidavit, Poole admitted to being involved in both incidents.
