MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Center Joakim Noah is the newest player for the Memphis Grizzlies.
General Manager Chris Wallace announced Tuesday the team signed Noah for the remainder of the season.
Noah, 33, has played in 625 games since being selected ninth overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls where he played until 2016. He most recently played with the New York Knicks from 2016 to 2018.
Noah’s career highlights include being named the 2013-14 NBA Defensive Player of the Year, two consecutive NBA All-Star appearances, three NBA All-Defensive honors and the 2015 J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award.
Noah will wear #55 for the Grizzlies.
