CEO of staffing company arrested after hidden camera found in bathroom

CEO accused of videotaping female employees in Hernando

HERNANDO, MS (WMC) - A company CEO was arrested after employees at a Hernando business noticed a hidden camera in the bathroom.

Police arrested David Hunter Moore, 23, for photographing and filming without permission. Moore is listed as the president and CEO of Moore Advanced.

The victim told police Thursday that she noticed a USB adapter in the outlet of an employee bathroom at Moore Advanced -- a bathroom only used by female employees.

The victim said she pulled the adaptor out of the wall and discovered a blinking light Wednesday.

She took a photo of the device, researched it online and discovered the adaptor also contained a hidden camera.

Hernando Police Chief Scott Worsham said investigators obtained a search warrant and found two additional recording devices, plus a body-worn camera in Moore’s desk.

“I’ve been doing this 22 years, and I’ve only, me personally, seen of this being the second time,” said Worsham.

He said investigators will now dig through all of the evidence taken from Moore's business.

“It was not a private per se bathroom, so if there was any children that use that bathroom, that’s a whole other issue,” said Worsham.

The victim also told police she noticed two male employees walking in and out of the bathroom quickly several times.

Hernando police confirmed another woman has come forward, worried that she might be a victim too.

Moore has been released from jail after posting a $50,000 bond.

He is due in court next month.
