The low pressure system that brought us rain yesterday is now east of the region. We are looking at cloudy skies and chilly temperatures sticking around to end the weekend and start the work week.
Today we are looking at plenty of clouds with chilly afternoon temperatures. Light lingering drizzle is possible this morning, but most of the area will remain on the dry side. Highs will only warm into the lower 40s this afternoon with breezy northwest winds around 10 mph. Clouds stick around overnight night with lows in the 30s and north winds around 5 to 10 mph.

THE WEEK AHEAD: We will remain dry for Monday, but the clouds will stick around as will the chilly afternoon highs in the lower 40s, lows Monday night will drop into the lower 30s with partly cloudy skies. Tuesday, we start our warming trend, afternoon highs are back into the 50s with partly cloudy skies and overnight lows in the upper 30s. Wednesday we keep with the highs in the middle 50s and partly cloudy skies, lows will drop into the lower to middle 40s. Rain chances return Thursday and build by Friday into Saturday. Highs Thursday will warm into the upper 50s with overnight lows in the 40s and clouds skies all day. Mainly cloudy for Friday with rain in the forecast, highs will warm into the upper 50s with overnight lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Saturday, right now, is looking wet with showers lingering behind the next system that brings us rain into Sunday. It also looks like a cold rain with highs in the 40s and lows dropping into the 30s. We could see even colder temperatures as we push into Sunday.
