Clouds linger, looking ahead to more rain

Clouds are slow to clear but the pattern remains dry for now. Rain chances will return followed by a significant arctic blast.

THIS WEEK: There will be some breaks in the clouds tomorrow allowing for some sunshine and warmer temperatures but more clouds will move in Wednesday night followed by another chance for rain. Thursday will be cloudy with a slight chance of a few showers early in the day along with highs in the upper 50s and overnight lows in the lower 40s. Friday will be mostly cloudy with afternoon highs again in the upper 50s and lows only falling to near 50.

THE WEEKEND: Saturday will be cloudy with rain and highs in the upper 50s early in the day and then falling. Overnight lows will end up in the mid 20s. A few snow showers are likely late Saturday night as temperature fall but no accumulation is expected. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and cold with afternoon highs only near 30 and overnight lows falling into the mid to upper teens.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be mostly sunny with afternoon highs in the mid 30s and overnight lows in the upper 20s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
