Masked man robs gas station at gunpoint

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis Police Department is investigating a robbery at a gas station on Mt. Moriah Road.

Police said a man entered the Exxon at 8:30 Sunday night with a black and red Halloween mask, armed with a handgun.

The suspect demanded the money from the register, which he was able to get before running from the scene.

Moriah Road Report #1901009575ME MEMPHIS, TN – On Sunday, January 20th, 2019, officers made the scene of a business robbery at the Exxon Gas Station, located at 6021 Mt. Moriah Road. Officers were advised that a male suspect entered the business at 8:32 p.m. wearing a black and red Halloween mask, armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded all the money from the register. The suspect took an undetermined amount of money and fled the scene on foot. The subject is described as a male in his mid-20’s, 5’09”, Skinny build, wearing a black hoodie over a gray hoodie, a red and black Halloween mask, dark-colored pants with black sneakers.
