SENATOBIA, MS (WMC) - A north Mississippi school has received the Distinguished School Award for a third consecutive year.
Magnolia Heights in Senatobia is just one of two schools in Mississippi to receive the honor.
Apple selected the school based on its vision for students, faculty leadership, and technology-rich environment.
Headmaster Dr. Marvin Lishman said the bar is raised each year the school receives the award, and he is excited for the school's future.
"I'm very excited about our school and the opportunities that we have moving forward, and I think we're on the trajectory to achieve even greater things,” Dr. Lishman said.
Dr. Lishman said the school is going for a “four-peat” next year, hoping to receive the title again.
