MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A woman has died more than a week after being shot during a Super Bowl party near Graceland.
Police say Sierra Stornes was shot early Feb. 4 at a home near Favell Drive and Dolan Drive along with 28-year-old Issacca Powell who died at the scene.
Paramedics took Stornes to the hospital in critical condition, but a police spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday that Stornes died from her injuries.
Police have arrested Calvin Wilkins for the shooting. Court documents say Wilkins hosted a Super Bowl party at his house and became angry when his wife made a plate of food for someone else.
Family members launched a GoFundMe Tuesday after Stornes died, posting that she was a mother without life insurance.
