BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - For the second time in less than a week, Blytheville police are investigating a fatal shooting.
Monday afternoon officers responded to a shots fired call at the Pear Tree Apartments on Ruddle Road.
When they arrived, they found 35-year-old Travis Pearson dead.
According to a news release from Chief Ross Thompson, detectives believe Pearson may have known his assailants.
Investigators are currently following several leads in the case.
This is the second fatal shooting in less than a week.
On Feb. 6, Jerry Marshall, 63, was found dead at his home on Short Street of a gunshot wound.
