Another soggy pattern taking shape

A strong southerly flow will make for a windy night and Thursday. It will also lead to increased cloud cover and rain chances.

THIS WEEK: Clouds and winds increase overnight. Wind gusts of 30 to 35 mph are likely by early morning. Clouds and windy conditions will continue tomorrow along with a slight chance of showers Thursday night. A cold front will move through the Mid-South early Friday shifting winds to the north and causing temperatures to fall from the mid 50s into the 40s by afternoon. Showers are also likely late into the day and overnight with lows falling into the mid 30s.

THE WEEKEND: Saturday will be cloudy with a chance of showers during the evening and overnight along with high temperatures in the upper 40s with overnight lows near 40. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain and highs in the lower 50s with lows in the mid 30s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain and highs in the lower 40s with overnight lows in the upper 30s. Tuesday will be cloudy with rain and possibly a few thunderstorms along with highs in the lower 40s and overnight lows in the upper 30s. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower early and highs in the upper 40s.
