School dedicates program to missing teen

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Family and friends of 16-year-old Johniah Frazier are hoping and praying for a safe return.

Frazier hasn't been seen since November when the Bartlett teen went missing.

Despite few details being available on her disappearance, Shelby County Sheriff's Office said the search is still on.

Now, her classmates as Memphis Academy of Health Sciences want to show Johniah's family that they are not alone.

The school is planning an assembly called Hearts for Johniah: An Ongoing Celebration of Love.

Speakers from the school and motivational speakers will talk to students about internet safety, depression and coping skills.

Organizers want to use the event as a sign of support for the Frazier family, and send the message that all of Memphis Academy of Health Sciences supports the safe return of Johniah.

The assembly will be followed by a balloon release.

If you know where Johniah could be, call SCSO at 379-7625.
