Small earthquake detected in Randolph County
A 2.2-magnitude earthquake was detected early Sunday in the Ravenden Springs area, according to the University of Memphis Center for Earthquake Research and Information.

RAVENDEN SPRINGS, AR (KAIT) - The seismograph was busy early Sunday as a small earthquake was detected near Ravenden Springs.

According to a report from the University of Memphis Center for Earthquake Research and Information, the 2.2-magnitude earthquake happened around 2:11 a.m., Feb. 17 nine miles east of Ravenden Springs.

Randolph County authorities have not received any calls about the earthquake, according to dispatch.
