Drying out today, but more rain arrives tomorrow

Although it will be mostly cloudy today, it will be dry through this evening. It will be chilly today with highs only reaching the mid 40s. Lows will drop to the lower 30s. Showers will start moving in overnight and into tomorrow morning.

TODAY: Mostly Cloudy. Winds: N 5-10 mph. High: 46.

TONIGHT: Cloudy. 20%. Winds: NE 5-10 mph. Low: 34.

REST OF THE WEEK: The best chance for rain will be tomorrow afternoon and evening as a low pressure system pushes out of the Gulf and into our area. Heavy rain is likely and there could be a few thunderstorms. Rainfall totals will be around 2 inches. Rain will continue through Wednesday. Unfortunately, this weather system will sit near our area through Saturday, which means at least a few showers will be possible each day. We will have a break in the rain Thursday, but rain will move back in that night and impact the area Friday and Saturday. Highs will range from the mid 40s to the mid 50s all week. Temperatures will jump into the upper 60s Saturday and then drop to the 50s Sunday. We should see the rain move totally east of our area by early Sunday.
