MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis police say a woman went on a shopping spree at Wolfchase Mall with credit cards stolen during a car break-in.

On Monday, police received a report of a vehicle burglary at Planet Fitness on North Germantown Parkway. The victims said their iPad, Dell laptop, HP laptop, a clothing steamer, purse, check card, credit card and state IDs were taken from the vehicle. They estimated the items were worth nearly $5,000.

One of the victims told officers her credit card company notified her that someone used her cards to make $2,166 worth of purchases inside Wolfchase Mall. Another victim said his Apple device’s GPS tracker pinged in the area of the mall.

Surveillance video from the area showed the suspect in a silver 2018 Chevrolet Malibu. Officers found the vehicle at the mall with Kimberly Fitch inside. Police say they saw broken glass and electronic devices consistent with the vehicle break-in.

Police say Fitch admitted to being present when the cards were used at a Finish Line and jewelry stand inside the mall.

Fitch was arrested and charged with car burglary, property theft, identity theft and fraudulent use of credit or debit card.
