Old Civil War cannonballs were unearthed from the sand in Folly Beach in Charleston, SC. Charleston County Sheriff's office snapped the photo and said they were found Sunday afternoon.

    We started talking about the threat for heavy rain for the middle of the week several days in advance. A strong low pressure system and a weather phenomenon known as the “Maya Express” were the main culprits. The Maya Express is when deep moisture is pulled north in between a large high and low pressure.

Winds will pick up out of the south as a large area of low pressure sets up over northern Mexico into Texas Tuesday. A strong southerly flow will bring lots of moisture into the Mid-South, especially Arkansas.
