WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (WMC-TV) - A Mid-South parent says a substitute teacher threatened her son.
What the mother described as a verbal attack was recorded on another student's cell phone.

Eighth grader Wesley Brewer says the substitute acted very inappropriately, threatening and humiliating him. She even challenged him to fisticuffs.

He also says she cursed and made fun of all of the students at West Jr. High School.

"She asked me if I liked her," Brewer said. "I called her a nut job. Started getting mad at me, started pushing me."

He says she was looking for a fight. "She backs up, takes her earrings off, takes her shoes off and said, 'We'll go right here.'"

Wesley's mother says she thought her son was exaggerating until she heard part of the exchange recorded on a student's cell phone.

"When I heard it, I believed every word he told me," said Toy Brewer. "I want her not to have any more teaching jobs."
