HORN LAKE, MS (WMC-TV) - Wanted for more than a month, accused of a string of crimes across the Mid-South, Cassandra Henry is now in jail, after she was caught Sunday afternoon in a Tunica Casino.

"An alert casino employee recognized her from some of the news reports," Lt. Scott Evans of the Horn Lake Police Department said.

She'd been on twice before.

March 25th, we showed you video of the woman in the light colored top maxing out a stolen credit card.  Then, the same woman leaving Target after using another stolen credit card.

As soon as the video hit air, a tipster called CrimeStoppers to identify the woman as Cassandra Henry.  She's accused of sweet talking her way into homes, stealing credit cards, then maxing them out as quickly as possible.

Most victims are elderly, including one who spoke to Action News 5 but asked to remain anonymous.

Henry's is accused of storming onto campus at Richland Elementary School and ripping off a teacher.

In fact, at least three police departments in three states have active cases with Henry as a suspect.  Each agency, along with federal investigators, will meet Wednesday to exchange notes and decide exactly how to charge Henry...

"The citizens are basically the ones that solved this case for us," Evans said.

Henry is in the DeSoto County Jail, held on $150,000 bond.
