MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Bullet holes in the vinyl siding marked the spot where two men were shot outside an apartment on Farrington Street Monday afternoon.

"Just constant, constant shooting," recalled neighbor Cynthia Henderson.  "I know one of them was shot maybe eight times, and the other one once or twice."

Henderson is seven months pregnant with a baby girl she's already named "Angel."  She wants to move her daughter somewhere else.

"I know now I really don't want to raise my baby here," Henderson said.

Chopper 5 was first over the scene as police began their investigation.  They blame the violence on an ongoing dispute.

"We got a description of a male black that was occupying a Cadillac that was responsible for the shooting," Major Michael Hardy said during a media briefing.

Family members of both victims showed up as police began their search for a shooter.

"It's very surprising," said Mona Reed.

Her 21-year-old son in law was shot.

"When I made it around here, he was laid out on the ground," she said.  "I just pray to God he alright."

Neighbors say children walking home from school may have been hit had the shooting happened an hour earlier.  Meantime, they say it's amazing the two men who were shot are still alive.

"This is my first time really seeing somebody shot,"  Henderson said. "Just lying on the ground 'bout to die."

It's something this expectant mother hopes her first child never has to witness.
