The City of Memphis now has a chance to lure the TSSAA State High School Football Championships to the Bluff City.
Nashville will not to bid to host this year's State Title Games.
That means the battle is now between Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, and Memphis, if those cities decide to bid.
The deadline is Friday, May 1.
Bids must include a minimum guarantee of $231,000 to the TSSAA.
Murfreesboro has a leg up, having hosted the State Championship games the past several years at Middle Tennessee State University.
