MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC-TV) - Residents of a Frayser neighborhood fear for their safety since their homes and vehicles have been riddled by bullets.

Sharon Scott's home has been hit on two occasions. Bullets pierced through the walls of her home last Friday night after gunfire again erupted in her neighborhood.

Her 13-year-old son was home at the time, but luckily was unharmed. Justin Scott says he heard about 11 rounds of gunfire.

"I'm like, 'Oh my God, they shooting again,'" he said.

Sharon Scott says she fears for the safety of her son and other neighborhood children. "We got innocent children out here. It could have been a child that got killed. It actually could have been me."

She says her car has also been caught in the crossfire and bears bullet holes.

Scott's neighbor, Tony Gilliam, says bullets have also riddled his house on two separate occasions.

"The way the bullets are in my home, they came from that angle (pointing). The bullets are coming from across the street...in that area," he said.

No one has been charged in the incidents, and Scott says she believes someone in the neighborhood is responsible.

Her home is up for sale, and she and her son hope to move soon.

Meanwhile, Scott says detectives will be going door-to-door in the neighborhood Monday as they continue their investigation.
