YOUR TURN: A disgusting development

The problems at the Memphis Rape Crisis Center have received attention from city leaders this week, but that hasn't exactly stopped the flow of people who are writing in to express outrage about the topic.

This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to Hunter Harbison. In his words:

The fiasco at the Rape Crisis Center is a disgusting development and an obvious sign that the leadership of our city has abdicated their responsibilities regarding the safety of our citizens. I'm ashamed to be a Memphian when a 14-year-old girl has been taken advantage of and the best we can do is send her away saying come back later. The leaders of this city should be ashamed as well and either rectify this and other problems or step down so someone that cares can step in and lead us to some solutions.

That's Hunter Harbison's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com, or call 800-465-1210.
