MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Memphis police discovered meth-making materials inside a home in the 1600 block of Winston in Frayser late Friday afternoon.

Investigators said they believed the materials were the remnants of a once active meth lab.  And, they added, there was evidence those inside were planning to manufacture another batch.

Police discovered the materials after receiving a tip from a neighbor who suspected drugs were being made inside the house.

Officers saw two people running from the home when they arrived, and also smelled a suspicious odor.

Those two people were arrested a short time later.

Officers dressed in protective gear searched the house, where they found the evidence of meth-making materials.

A clean-up crew from Southaven was then dispatched to the scene to remove the materials.
