MILLINGTON, TN (WMC-TV) - Shelby County authorities are investigating a domestic incident that resulted in two fatal shootings.

Deputies responded to a home near Millington early Wednesday morning where a woman had been shot in the head and her boyfriend had been wounded.  Investigators described the shootings as a domestic dispute that erupted after the three people involved spent the evening drinking.

When deputies arrived at the home, they found Lisa Joyner dead, and her friend Scotty Uselton injured from gunshot wounds.

"We believe at this point it has something to do with a domestic situation," Shelby County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Steve Shular said.

Investigators say the wounded Uselton made a 911 call, telling officers he was visiting Joyner when Victor Turosky entered the home through a side door armed with a pistol.

Deputies said all three had spent the earlier part of their evening drinking together.

"A man barged into the home, there was a struggle there, was a confrontation, and there was some shooting just on his part," Shular said.
Investigators said Turosky then fled from the scene.  Shortly after that, deputies went to Turosky's home on Deer Lake Drive in Shelby Forest.

"Shortly after the shooting that there was another call about a man who might have been in some woods out on Deer Lake. There had been a gun shot that sounded," Shular said.

SWAT members searched the woods and found Turosky dead from a gunshot wound.  A shotgun was lying near his body.

Several hours before the shootings,  Turosky was released from the Millington Jail following a DUI and reckless driving arrest.

The case remains under investigation.
