All the hand wringing, mind wrenching, and numbers crunching are about to be over for the Memphis Grizzlies when they turn in their draft card to NBA Commissioner David Stern..
Until then, there's still plenty of work to do..
Like work out 3-more hopefuls at the Teams' Pre-Draft Camp at FedExForum.
Getting most of the focus Tuesday, is Xavier Forward Derrick Brown.
A 6'7", 228 pounder, Brown was a mainstay on the Muskateers Front Line for 3-seasons..
He averaged almost 14-points a game, to go along with 6 rebounds...plus he hit 43% from Downtown for a club that just missed going to the Elite 8 for the third time in 6 years.
Brown, who graduated early with a double-major in entrepreneurial studies and Marketing, has a pragmatic approach to the whole draft process.
Brown says:"The constant workouts are tough, dead legs difficult to overcome.. But, everybody is going through it for the privelege of being a high Draft Pick. I work my hardest in these drills because i know i'm blessed to be in this position. I hope to make it work."
Also working out Tuesday for the Grizz, Pitt Forward Tyrell Biggs, a 6'8, 250 pound Power Forward...and Stanfords' Lawrence Hill who can swing between the 3 and the 4.
The Grizzlies have one more workout planned for Wednesday which will include former Kentucky Sharpshooter Jodie Meeks.
