WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (WMC-TV) - West Memphis police have arrested a couple in connection with the disappearance of the former mayor of Waldron, Arkansas.

Troy Anderson was first reported missing last weekend.

21-year-old Mario Dawson and 20-year-old Jasmine Dawson are being held for fraudulent use of a credit card. Surveillance video showed the pair using Anderson's debit card at a Fort Smith grocery store.

Police say they also used the card for purchases in Little Rock and West Memphis.

The couple was taken into custody after police received a tip that they were staying at a West Memphis apartment complex.
Authorities say they believe the Dawsons know where Anderson is.
In 2006, Anderson resigned as mayor of Waldron after he was accused of trading city water services for sex.
