Topless Thunder Heads to Riverside Speedway

The Folks at Riverside Speedway in West Memphis are taking the Term, "Tokyo Drift" to a whole new level Thursday night..

That's because they're debuting the First Ever United Sprint Car Series Topless Thunder event at the Famed Dirt Track..

These 700 Horsepower Sprint Cars usually race with Top and Front Wings to use forced air down draft to keep them from spinning out of control on the gumbo surface..

Taking the Wings off, as racer Jeff Swindell of Bartlett says, may lessen the speed, but make it a whole lot more work for the Drivers.

The Sprint Cars won't be the only ones going Topless Thursday..

The USCS Modified class will be racing without a roof as well..

The Green Flag drops on the Inaugural Topless Thunder event at 7:30PM Thursday night at Riverside Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas.
