White-Moultrie Help U.S. in Under-19 World Baskettball Finals

In Hoops, Former Raleigh-Egypt star Arnette Moultrie helps the United States Under -19 team rout Canada today in the Quarterfinals of the U-19 World Championships at Aukland, New Zealand.

Moultrie snags a game high 11-rebounds along with 3-points, a Block, assist and a steal in the 93-73 victory.

Moultrie plays for UTEP.

Current Ole Miss and former Craigmont High star Terrico White had 4-points and 3-rebounds for the Americans.

The U.S. Will play in the Semifinals against Croatia.

Mississippi State Center Jarvis Varnado sat on the bench while the U.S.A.'s World University Games team lost its' first game of the Tournament to Russia in the Semifinals 69-68.

No reason why Varnado, who's from Brownsville, TN, did not play.

Russia outscored the Yanks 20-9 in the 4th quarter to win.
