MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Janis Fullilove made her first public appearance Monday night since bonding out of jail last week.

Fullilove appeared at a Town Hall meeting Monday night at Abundant Grace Church on Shelby Drive, along with several Memphis city directors and City Council members Harold Collins and Edmund Ford, Jr.

At the town hall, along with raising concerns about crime, racism, golf courses and trash, several of those in attendance told Fullilove they loved her.

But no one asked her about her personal problems, like her indictment on charges of lying about what happened to her driver's license.  Fullilove stated on a form that it was lost, instead of saying it was confiscated by deputies in DeSoto County after an arrest.

After the fundraiser, Fullilove avoided our cameras, and did not want to be interviewed.  She would also not answer questions about a fundraiser she posted on her Facebook page, where she says any donation is accepted.

The page does not say what the money would be used for.

Fullilove would not answer questions about a fundraiser she posted on her Facebook page that says any donation is accepted.  She has not made it clear what that fundraiser is for, or even who people should make checks payable to if they want to donate.

She likely has mounting attorney fees because of her legal problems.
