While Baseball has it's Hot Stove League in the Winter..the NBA is in the middle of its' Free Agent Free for All right now.
All National Media Outlets are picking up on the Memphis Grizzlies interest in 10-time All-Star Allen Iverson.
ESPN.coms' Marc Stein reports Grizzlies Owner Michael Heisley thinks the Miami Heat are the favorites to sign Iverson, who's a Free Agent for the first time in his 13-year career.
But, that's not stopping Heisley from making a strong play for A.I.
Stein reports Heisley says the Heat and the Charlotte Bobcats are talking with Iverson, along with the Grizzlies.
The Heat has Super Star Dwyane Wade and is a playoff team...but can only offer Iverson the veterans minimum because of Salary Cap constraints.
Charlotte is coached by Larry Brown, who worked for years with Iverson in Philadelphia..
And the Grizzlies are reported to be ready with a $5-Million Dollar 1-year offer.
That's more than either Charlotte or Miami...but money may not be the deciding factor.
