The Grizzlies may have a fall back player of their own, right on their own Summer League team.

Marcus Williams is proving to be a bona-fide leader on the court for Grizz Rookies and Free Agents playing in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas..

Williams, a former First Round Pick out of Connectictut in 2006, is one of the main reasons the Grizz are 2-and-0 so far in the Desert.

Taking over down the stretch he had 16-points, 5-assists, 5-rebounds and only 1 turnover in Memphis win over the Knicks Tuesday night.

He had 17-assists and only 1 turnover in their blowout win over the Thunder Sunday..

The Grizzlies are also getting production out of 2nd year Forward Darrell Arthur.

The 6'9" Arthur showed the kind of Up-Tempo Hustle he'll need if he wants to get minutes at the power forward spot when play starts for real.

The former Kansas Star with 22-points on 8-15 from the floor.
