Former Tiger Ross to USA

Former Memphis running back Brandon Ross is transferring to the University of South Alabama.

Tigers Head Coach Tommy West said Ross was leaving for Personal Reasons.

South Alabama is starting it's first full season in Football.

Ross's cousin Richard will be a redshirt freshman running back there.

Ross, who's FROM Alabama, played in the Tigers' final eight games last season and gained 296 yards, taking the field after injuries took a toll on the backfield.

He gained a career-best 111 yards in a win at Southern Methodist.

Ross will have three years of eligibility remaining.
