Grizzlies Beat Blake Griffin/Clippers to go 3-0 in Summer League

It's the Irresistible Force vs the Immovable Object...

Or as close as you can get to it in NBA Summer League action..

The Memphis Grizzlies, with #2 Draft Pick and hopefully Defensive Dynamo Hasheem Thabeet, meet up with the L.A. Clippers and their One Man Offensive Explosion, Top Pick Blake Griffin.

Blake Griffin as good as advertised with 18-points, 15 Rebounds, 3-assists and 2 Blocks..

Only 6-points and 3-Rebounds and a block for Thabeet, but defensively, the paint belongs to Memphis.. The Clippers shooting less than 35%

The 7'3" Thabeet combining with 7'2" Hamed Haddadi and 6'11" Greg Stiemsma of Wisconsin to shut down L.A. inside.

Former First Round Pick Marcus Williams of UConn continues to make a strong push to earn the back up Point Guard spot for Memphis. Another strong effort running the team with 22-points, 4-rebounds and 5-assists. Williams has 28-assists in 3-games.

The Grizz 3-0 in Summer League play beating the Clippers 85-to-68.

Memphis next plays the Phoenix Suns Saturday in Las Vegas.
