Cardinals Glaus Joins Redbirds

The Memphis Redbirds come back to AutoZone Park with a Plus .500 record and a present from their Parent St. Louis Cardinals..

The Cards put Major Leaguer Troy Glaus in Memphis to continue Rehabbing his injured right shoulder.

He had surgery in January of this year.

Glaus was playing in Class Single-A Palm Beach recently, going 2 for 4 at the plate.

THROWING without pain is still a test...but he says rehab is a work in progress and he expects to get back to St. Louis in the near future.

  Glaus says that's HIS plan, anyway. He says the pain is becoming manageable and he wants to get back to the Big Leagues as soon as possible.

  No word how long he'll be in Memphis.

Glaus, in his first at bat of the night...the single up the middle...Glaus going 2-for-4, with an RBI...

Cardinal Khalil Greene also back in Memphis for a second stint to control a Social Anxiety Disorder.
