BARTLETT, TN (WMC-TV) - Bartlett Police released four suicide notes Monday written by the man who murdered Bartlett model Lisa Davis earlier this year.

The notes, written by Austin Agee, were released along with never-before-seen evidence and interviews in the case.

"I don't know why I did it and I'm sorry," Agee wrote. "Lisa Davis's body can be found at the track where we used to ride."

It turned out to be a field in Lakeland where authorities discovered Lisa Davis's body. Agee's camouflage jacket was covering her, just like he wrote.

Agee wrote three other messages, one to his girlfriend, one titled 'everyone,' and one to his family. saying he wished he had been a better son.

A Bartlett Police Department report shows investigators believe Agee acted alone. Investigators could not determine if Agee sexually assaulted Lisa Davis, but police documents show Agee told his girlfriend that he sexually assaulted a girl named Lisa.

The police report shows Davis was attacked initially in her foyer and that she died in her Bartlett home. There was blood all over her house in her bedroom and in the dining room, and evidence someone tried to clean it up.

The report says Lisa Davis was beaten with a gun and shot in the head and chest.

Police never charged Agee with the murder of Lisa Davis. On the day officers went to the Lakeland home where he lived with his parents, Agee's mother went upstairs to get him and investigators heard her scream. Agee had shot himself.

Police never came up with a motive, but they say there may have been several contributing factors. First, Agee had a kidney transplant and was on several medications. He had recently been under stress because of blood in his urine and did not want his parents to know about it.

Agee had also been drinking, but it was not clear how much.
