USA Today Ranks Ole Miss 10th in Football Pre-Season Poll

To say it's been a long time since the Rebels fans have had THIS much anticipation for the Pigskin would be a total understatement.

Not since the Days of legendary Head Coach Johnny Vaught is Football at Ole Miss this highly revered.

The USA Today Pre-Season Coaches Poll makes it official..

The Rebels are ranked Number-10 in the Nation to start the season.

It's been almost 40-years since Ole Miss reached these heights in the Polls.

The last time was 19-70, when the Rebels entered that season ranked 5th Nationally.

The last time Ole Miss was ranked in the Pre-Season was 2000, when they opened the year 18th.

In his second year at the helm, Rebel Coach Houston Nutt has a team full of returning starters at all the important positions, especially quarterback, where Ole Miss has Junior Jevan Snead.

Snead is on the Watch List for the Davey O'Brien Award for the Nations' Top Quarterback.
