OLIVE BRANCH, MS (WMC-TV) - A fifth arrest has been made in the investigation of the operation of a methamphetamine lab in a north Mississippi casino hotel room.

Gregory Rice was arrested and charged with manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of precursors.

One of Rice's neighbors, who asked to remain annonymous, said when Rice's mother was at work, the activity picked up.

"While she'd be at work during the day, from what I understand, there was a lot of traffic coming in and out and it turned out he had a meth lab in his car," the neighbor said.

Authorities said Rice was also wanted by Tunica law enforcement in connection with a meth lab busted last month in a hotel room at the Sheraton Casino in Tunica.

"It surprised all of us cause we kind of keep an eye on each other's houses here," the neighbor said.

Another neigbor, Ann Boling, said she felt bad for Rice's mother.

"She's not to blame for any of this. We're gonna keep her in our prayers and do what we can for her," Boling said.

Rice is being held in the Tunica County jail pending an initial court appearance.

Four others have been charged in the case. They are Johnny Swinford of Horn Lake, Miss.; Cali Scott of Hernando, Miss.; Cassie Jenson of Memphis, Tenn.; and Ronnie Crump of Monette, Ark.
