Barham Enrolls at Memphis/Hopes to Get Release from S.I.U

Memphis Tiger Basketball hopes to get another Boost ON the Court with the addition of former CBHS star Drew Barham to the Roster.

Barham initially signed with Southern Illinois after an All-State Career with the Brothers.

His Father, Pat Barham, tells me Drew has asked out of his National Letter, and started classes this morning at Memphis, the first day of school.

Pat Barham says all that's left is for S.I.U. to O.K. His release.

A lifelong Tigers Fan, Barham signed with S.I.U BEFORE John Calipari left Memphis for Kentucky, taking most of the Tigers talented recruiting class with him.

If released, Barham would be eligible to play immediately at Memphis, with the chance of earning a U of M Scholarship.

The 6'7" Barham averaged 21 points a game at CBHS.

He was also recruited by Stanford, Georgia Tech, Butler, and Wake Forest.
