Tigers Motivated by Underdog Status vs Rebels

Lately, the College Football series between Memphis and Ole Miss produced some heart stopping games decided in the last minutes...except for last season..

The unranked Rebels, as 17 point favorites, beat the Tigers 41-to-24 in Oxford.

This season, Ole Miss comes into Memphis ranked among the Nations' best at #8 by the Associated Press..and are, once again, 17-point favorites..

Does that bother Tigers Runner Curtis Steele?

"No way," says Steele. "All that does is gives us the motivation to try and go out and pound them."

Ole Miss will throw a Bevy of Backs at the Tigers, including Cordera Eason, who was the Rebels second leading Rusher last season with almost 650 yards and 3-touchdowns.

Eason says, "When we get tired, any one of us can go out there and get the job done. When you add Dexter McCluster to the mix, we have 8 backs all capable of being number one."

Kickoff for the Tigers and Rebels is 2:30pm Sunday at the Liberty Bowl.
