Rebels Move Up to 6th in Nation in A.P. Football Poll

Is there a Doctor in the House? May replace Poll watching as the latest fad for Ole Miss Football Fans..

That's because Rebels players temperatures are rising as fast as their Ranking among the writers and the Coaches..

As many as 16 players are sick with the Flu now, including quarterback Jevan Snead.

Coaches are isolating players as much as they can to try and keep it from spreading even more..

Meanwhile, the Associated Press tabs Ole Miss as the Number 6 team in the Nation this week.

That's thanks to the Rebels 45-14 thumping of Memphis at the Liberty Bowl Sunday.

They're closing in on their highest ranking in 4-decades.

Mississippi opened 5th to start the 19-70 season.

The Rebs jump from 10th to 8th in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

There was room to move up after both Oklahoma and Virginia Tech lost on opening weekend, and Ohio State struggled with Navy.

Ole Miss has an open date this week..

The Rebels next game not till September 19th at home against Southeast Louisiana.
