MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - An internet search helped Memphis home invasion victims track down the person who allegedly attacked them.

Emanuel Patterson, 17, is currently inside the Shelby County Jail, charged with aggravated robbery.  Police say Patterson was one of three people involved in a home invasion, robbery, and shooting on Camilla.

According Patterson's the arrest ticket, victims said one of the robbers referred to another multiple times as 'EP.'

Afterward, one of the victims searched for the name 'EP' on the internet.  Her search turned up a series of videos featuring a local rapper named 'EP the Paper Chaser.'  Local DJ's play his song, and EP has his own dance called the 'Paper Chase' which is popular among local high school students.

Through the internet videos, the alleged victims identified EP as one of the robbers, and later picked Patterson out of a six person photo line-up.

His grandmother says Patterson was arrested at school and taken to 201 Poplar.

According to his arrest ticket, Patterson has a juvenile record for a previous robbery.  Police say another one of the suspects in this case made an appearance in those videos.
