Wilkerson is able to walk away from this one..
He'll drive again next week, even though his car won't.
And another scary scene al little later in the day..
Tony Pedregon blows a piston and blows his top in a fireball down the raceway..
The Body takes off like the Space Shuttle...but Pedregon rides it out in the Chassis...and wins his heat.
He makes it to the Finals.. But the Wally belongs to Jeff Arend, who upends the Force team of John Force and Ashley Force Hood on the way to the Championship..
Jeff Arend takes Funny Car with a 4.09 second run at 310 MPH.
Top Fuel goes to Morgan Lucas, who outduels The Sarge, points leader Tony Shumacher in the U.S. Army Dragster in a squirrelly race to the finish at 251 MPH.
