Former Ole Miss Linebacker Tony Fein died Wednesday at the age of 27 in his home state of Washington
There is no word on the cause of death.
Fein served 3-years in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Iraq, before playing for the Rebels in 2007 and '08.
Fein was signed as an undrafted Free-Agent by Seattle after the NFL Draft in April, but was released.
He was later picked up by Baltimore and made it to the last cut before being let go September 5th.
His agent, Donald Hobbs, says Fein was staying in shape eyeing a CFL opportunity when he died.
