Home invasion suspect arrested following foot chase

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) -  A home invasion suspect was taken into custody Thursday night after he lead police on a foot chase.

On Thursday afternoon, Memphis police responded to a robbery call in the 700 block of Prescott. An elderly victim told officers her car had been stolen.

Several hours later, officers located the male suspect, who was driving the victim's vehicle. He fled from the car and took off on foot.

Police apprehended him after a brief foot chase.

The suspect is in custody, but no charges have been filed.
