OLIVE BRANCH, MS (WMC-TV) - An Olive Branch man missing for several weeks became a father last Sunday.

Tyler Albritton vanished without a trace nearly four weeks ago, and authorities have hit a dead end in their search for him. There has been no activity on his cell phone and his credit and debit cards have not been used.

His son, Daniel Hayes Albritton, was born early Sunday morning.

"What should have been a joy to celebrate for me, mom and dad, and sister was a very sad occasion," said Joe Albritton, the missing man's father.

Tyler's family members have driven down every road within a 75-mile radius looking for any clues to his whereabouts.

They say he had no reason to leave. He was excited about the birth of his son. He had a good job, and he was enrolled full-time at Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Tyler Albritton was headed to class when he disappeared.

He was last seen driving a red 2000 Silverado truck. If you have any information about his disappearance, call Olive Branch police.
