MILLINGTON, TN (WMC-TV) - Two Millington Central High School students are charged with carrying a gun onto school property.

18-year-old Larry Williams, a senior, and a sophomore student were arrested Thursday after other students overheard their conversation about selling a weapon.

An affadavit of complaint says the boys were heard "talking about selling for $50."

Williams denied having the gun before school officials found it in one of his pockets.

The school district credits Williams' classmates with providing information that led to officials finding the gun.

Williams now faces expulsion.

On the same day, a BB gun was found on another Shelby County campus. An 8th grader at Highland Oaks Middle School faces longterm suspension in that incident.
