MILLINGTON, TN (WMC-TV) - E.A. Harold Elementary School was put on lockdown for 20 minutes Friday after Millington police raided a nearby drug house.

Police say the lockdown was strictly a precutionary measure.

What Millington Police Chief Ray Douglas described as a "crack house" has been under surveillance for several months.

"We're not going to tolerate any activity of this nature. We find it, we close it down, we make the arrest," he said.

Police say undercover agents bought crack and marijuana at the small white house several times over the last few months.

Friday morning, investigators secured a court order to seize the home.

Police acted with urgency because of the home's location near an elementary school, a playground, and two churches.

Inside, officers found a rifle, but no one was home.

The homeowner claims he has no knowledge of drug activity on the property.

Investigators say he didn't sell drugs to undercover officers, but was he was home during the exchanges.

Police say he's being detained, but has not been arrested or charged.

Officers say they're still searching for the sellers.
