Lester Hudson Makes Celtics

The NBA Tipped Off its' New Season Last night...and Memphian Lester Hudson was a part of it.

Hudson, who was picked late in the second round last April by Boston, IS ON the Celtics Roster for opening night.

Hudson's roundabout way to the NBA is well chronicled, having flunked out of Central High..barely scraping by at Southwest Tennessee Community College, before finally getting his act together at UT-Martin.

Hudson became the only College Player in NCAA Division One History to record a Quadruple Double...

He was also among the Nations' Leading Scorers.

Hudson and the Celtics beat the Cavaliers at Cleveland last night 95-to-89.

The Curse of the Clippers continues as NBA Top Draft Pick Blake Griffin is out 6-weeks with a fractured Patellar Tendon in his Knee.

He injured it on a wide open Dunk in the Clippers final Pre-Season game Friday.

Griffin joins former Clippers First Round Picks Elton Brand, Danny Manning, and Shawn Livingston to miss significant time in their Rookie seasons.

Bad Timing for the Clips, they opened against the Defending Champion L.A. Lakers on ring ceremony night.  That's a loss.

The Grizzlies play at the Clippers next Saturday, November 7th.
