Raw Video: Last pieces of Anderton's facade demolished

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Workers demolished the remaining facade of Anderton's East restaurant Tuesday, which was a vintage remnant of Madison Avenue in Memphis.

The glazed terra cotta facade had remained standing only with the help of 21 support posts at the corner of Madison and Barksdale.

Anderton's East closed in late 2005. The building is believed to have dated to the 1930s.

Crye-Leike Realtors plans to build a $1.5 million office building at the site.
